The Role
As the standalone Accounts Receivable Officer, you will take full control of the company’s debtor ledger, ensuring the smooth and efficient management of cash flow and collections. Key responsibilities include:
• End-to-end management of the accounts receivable function, including cash collection and debtor reconciliations.
• Daily processing of debtor receipts and bank fees.
• Preparing weekly debtors' reports and monitoring outstanding accounts.
• Allocating customer deposits and liaising with debtors for collections.
• Preparing monthly ATB and cash flow reports for senior stakeholders.
• Conducting new debtor credit checks and setting up new accounts.
• Managing multi-currency invoices and credit notes.
• Performing month-end bank reconciliations and financial reporting support.

The Candidate
To thrive in this role, you will need:
• Extensive experience in Accounts Receivable & Credit Control, managing a busy ledger independently.
• Strong background in cash flow and ATB reporting.
• Experience working with multi-currency invoices and foreign exchange (highly desirable).
• Proficiency in ERP systems.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, PivotTables).
• A keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
