The Role
Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you will support Sales & Marketing activities by performing a variety of predictive and reactive data analytics and interpretation. This will support and drive sales results at a branch and national level and measure actual outcome against business targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report sales performance on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
- Track the performance of critical initiatives and development of marketing campaigns
- Maintain and enhance sales dashboards to sales staff with actionable insights to grow volume
- Co-ordinate the customer feedback program and prepare feedback and business reporting
- Sales and margin trend analysis and reporting
- Support the team with their activities and promotions, including seasonality factors
- Pricing analysis around RRP (recommended retail price) and discount structures
- Manage the customer loyalty / rebates programs
- Through all sources of data available, assist Product Managers to analyse and report on market share
- Assist in maintenance of customer price lists and circulation of same to customers
- Assist in creation of survey lists
The Person
With a Tertiary qualification, ideally in commerce or business you will have a continuous improvement mindset to enhance the efficiency and profitability of the company. You will foster outstanding negotiation skills and an ability to develop strong working relationships
You will also be required to have advanced Microsoft Office skills, advanced working knowledge of Excel and experience in various analytical tasks.
