About the Job
As the Collections Team Leader, you’ll be leading a team of credit controllers to ensure overdue accounts are managed effectively and promptly. You’ll encourage a collaborative, supportive, results-driven environment, one focussed on improving cash flow and enhancing quality communication with key stakeholders, all while driving your team’s performance. Your specific responsibilities will include:

• Supervise and support a team of 5 credit controllers.
• Review overdue accounts to ensure timely and effective action.
• Provide reports on team activities, issues, and KPIs.
• Collaborate with other internal key stakeholders to manage customer accounts.
• Handle escalated collection issues and assist with collections efforts.

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proven experience leading a collections team in a complex business. 
• Ability to set and monitor KPIs effectively.
• In-depth understanding of credit policies and procedures.
• Experience with external credit databases and collection strategies.
