We are currently working with a Australian owned services organisation and actively recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller. Reporting to the Finance Manager your responsibilities will include:
- High volume collection of all overdue debts
- Monitor customer accounts and update accordingly
- Handle all customer billing queries
- Collaborate with the sales team and account managers to resolve any issues impacting collections
- Monthly reporting
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports related to collections and credit
- Investigating and resolving customer queries
- Review problem accounts
- Liaise with customer service, sales and internal staff about status of customer accounts
- Ad hoc accounts administration
Experience required:
- Previous experience within a Credit based role and happy to manage the collections
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good skills in negotiating
- Ability to manage your own workload
- Willingness to learn
- Attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
