We are partnering with a leading organisation in the automotive sector to recruit a dedicated and detail-oriented Data Governance Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and innovative environment on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
About the Role:
In this position, you will support the implementation and maintenance of customer data governance and stewardship practices. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the quality, security, and compliance of customer information while driving continuous improvements in data usability and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the monitoring, reporting, and improvement of customer data governance activities.
- Develop and implement processes to address data quality issues and drive enhancements.
- Document and maintain data governance policies, standards, and controls.
- Assist in compliance-related activities, including preparing necessary security documents.
- Analyse performance metrics to identify and prioritise system and process improvements.
- Work with stakeholders to document business requirements and support decision-making.
- Coordinate user access management and security testing activities.
- Assist in any procure-to-pay (P2P) activities for CRM and digital tools/services.
- Maintain system guidelines, manuals, and communicate updates effectively.
About You:
- Background in Data Governance, Data Management, or System Operations is highly regarded.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, HubSpot) is desirable.
- Basic project management and process mapping abilities or willingness to upskill in this area.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on reporting and data quality.
Highly Desirable Skills:
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks and principles.
- Understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., Privacy Act, GDPR).
- Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI).
- Knowledge of change management processes and stakeholder engagement.
