As a Financial Accountant, you’ll work closely with the Finance Manager, taking ownership of key financial responsibilities and contributing to the company’s ongoing success.

The Position:

Reporting to the Finance Manager your key responsibilities will include:

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, perform bank reconciliations, and manage payroll processing
• Generate financial reports, including monthly management accounts, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets
• Ensure adherence to local and international accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements
• Support the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
• Assist in R&D tax claims, grant applications, and financial reporting related to government incentives
• Maintain and oversee financial systems ensuring data accuracy
• Assist Finance Manager with process improvement

• Degree in Accounting (CPA or working towards)
• Tech-savvy with experience using Xero, Excel and payment systems including Shopify, Paypal, Stripe, and Square
• A proactive, solutions-driven mindset with excellent communication skills
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and international tax requirements
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
