As a Financial Accountant, you’ll work closely with the Finance Manager, taking ownership of key financial responsibilities and contributing to the company’s ongoing success.

The Position:
Reporting to the Finance Manager your key responsibilities will include:
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, perform bank reconciliations, and manage payroll processing
- Generate financial reports, including monthly management accounts, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets
- Ensure adherence to local and international accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements
- Support the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
- Assist in R&D tax claims, grant applications, and financial reporting related to government incentives
- Maintain and oversee financial systems ensuring data accuracy
- Assist Finance Manager with process improvement
The Candidate:
- Degree in Accounting (CPA or working towards)
- Tech-savvy with experience using Xero, Excel and payment systems including Shopify, Paypal, Stripe, and Square
- A proactive, solutions-driven mindset with excellent communication skills
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and international tax requirements
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
