The Role
This role is for a Financial Accountant for a period of 12 weeks to start ASAP. The goal is the clean-up, reconciliation (including supporting documents / contracts) and potential redesign of processes and accounting for:
- Right Of Use Assets for properties and lease to own infrastructure
- Rebates processing
- Capitalisation of fixed assets
- Trade creditor reconciliation
You will also be responsible for audit of the following:
- Compliance to the delegation of authority
- Inventory management and controls
The Person
This position will commence ASAP and will run for a period of 12 weeks (with minimum 3 weeks’ notice to exit). As a high performer you will be driven in your approach to work and career, you will be process orientated, highly organised with good written and verbal skills.
With a CPA / CA qualification you will have several years’ experience within Audit and relevant industry experience, to include utilities/energy, technical infrastructure or sustainability. You will benefit from strong working knowledge of Dynamics BC and / or Xero and advanced Excel skills.
This role will offer 4 days a week in the office in South Melbourne and 1 day WFH per week. You will also be required to travel to Sydney for 2-3 days once a month.
