As an HR Business Partner, you'll be pivotal in driving the people strategy during this transformative phase, supporting the organisation's growth, and ensuring its continued success.

About the role
This is an exciting, operationally focused HR Business Partner role offering direct contact with key stakeholder groups across the organisation. Reporting to the HR Manager, you can lead and shape HR initiatives while partnering closely with leaders to drive people strategies.

Key responsibilities are:

  • Advise managers and employees on HR, EBA, awards, policies, and business-related issues.
  • Provide HR reporting and analysis to internal and government stakeholders.
  • Handle grievances and complaints and conduct workplace investigations.
  • Manage leave without pay and employee absenteeism.
  • Support and maintain the diversity and inclusion framework, ensuring regular updates.
  • Lead diversity initiatives and projects to foster an inclusive and safe workplace.
  • Coordinate the performance review process.
  • Advise on remuneration, benefits, and employment agreements.
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives.
  • Contribute to the development and management of HR processes.
  • Maintain and update HR policies and frameworks.
  • Oversee HR projects aligning with business strategy and operational needs.
  • Manage diversity and inclusion policies, initiatives, and reporting.

About you
We seek a proactive and hands-on individual, motivated by growth in the Employee Relations and Industrial Relations space. The ideal candidate will be ambitious yet patient in their career journey, with a strong ability to build authentic, trusting relationships across all levels of the organisation.
  • Proven experience in generalist HR and Employee Relations within a fast-paced and diverse workplace.
  • Strong, up-to-date knowledge of HR compliance, policies, and relevant legislation.
  • Expertise in drafting compliant, clear, and effective HR policies and processes.
  • Solid background in managing HR and ER functions in a dynamic, high-volume environment.
