ABOUT THE ROLE
Leading the Melbourne Operation and a team of 3. Working on the CW1 platform, the position will suit a hands-on Operations Manager. The role demands a technically compliant forwarder with strong interpersonal and analytical skills. This role is supported by a strong commercial team with a proven internal process.

DUTIES
• Manage and ensure the daily operations team of 3 is supported and mentored appropriately 
• Maintain an existing portfolio of clients with both import and export operations
• Monitor operational reporting to analyse and identify potential issues and flag process improvement opportunities 
• Responsible for the P/L & EOM of the business unit 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Direct experience managing an Australian freight forwarding operations team
• Previous and competent experience working with both Import and Export Operations
• Demonstrated experience creating and analysing CW1 reporting functions 
• Familiar with dealing with complex and varied overseas agents
