As part of their continued expansion, they are seeking a dedicated Operations Manager

Position Overview:
The Operations Manager will oversee all daily operations, including manufacturing, warehouse, yard, transport, and logistics. Reporting directly to the senior management team, you will be instrumental in developing and executing strategic plans to enhance productivity, efficiency, and overall performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage production planning, with a focus on resource requirements and cost optimization.
- Enhance operational systems and infrastructure to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with senior management to align operations with strategic goals, budgets, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Identify and resolve inefficiencies in production processes.
- Implement best practices and operational management systems.
- Oversee inventory control, warehouse efficiency, and quality assurance processes.
- Recruit, train, and supervise staff, addressing HR concerns proactively.
- Provide financial oversight, including reporting and analysis.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain all equipment, vehicles, and facilities to optimal working standards.
- Foster a ‘Safety Always’ culture in compliance with health, safety, and environmental legislation.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3-5 years of experience in a management role within a production or manufacturing environment.
- Expertise in plastics injection moulding or extrusion processes.
- Proven track record of leading successful production teams.
- Proficiency in production planning software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong understanding of operations management and organizational effectiveness.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental best practices.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards.
- Exceptional communication and analytical skills.
