Veritas Recruitment is excited to exclusively partner with their senior leadership team to recruit an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join their head office in the outer Eastern suburbs.
This role will play a pivotal role in shaping and refining financial reporting processes and procedures across the organisation.

Your Role:

As an experienced Senior Financial Accountant, you report to the CFO and work collaboratively with the Global Finance Director and transactional finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and report on monthly financial results, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and variance analysis.
• Design, implement, and manage financial reporting timetables for daily, weekly, and monthly reporting cycles.
• Assist in the development of robust month-end reporting processes and report packs to meet quarterly and year-end requirements.
• Ensure accurate journal entries and monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Conduct data analysis to assist in reporting for taxation, auditing, and statutory requirements.
• Support the preparation of annual insurance assessments and assist in financial budget preparation.
• Collaborate with inventory/logistics coordinators to ensure accurate inventory financial reporting.
• Assist with the preparation of fringe benefits tax information and land tax payment management.


Skills & Qualifications:

• Degree-qualified with CA/CPA qualifications.
• Proven broad-based financial accounting experience within a manufacturing/inventory-based organisation.
• High-level computing skills and proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and other reporting software.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with all levels of the organisation.
• A flexible, proactive “can-do” attitude and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
